Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 August 2026
Popcorn Club VIP respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we may share it, and how you can contact us about your personal information.
1. Information we collect
We may collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Name and email address
- Device type and package/tier selection
- Welcome-voucher code, issue date, expiry, redemption status and the email address linked to the voucher
- Messages, enquiries, support requests and troubleshooting results
- Payment or billing information required to process or confirm a purchase
- Any other information you choose to send to us through forms or email
We may also collect basic technical information when you use our website, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, form submission data, approximate location derived from technical data, and website performance information.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Respond to trial, subscription and support requests
- Send setup information, payment information and account-related messages
- Provide customer support and troubleshoot technical issues
- Manage subscriptions, package enquiries and access requests
- Improve our website, services, forms and customer experience
- Protect our website, prevent abuse and maintain security
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting or regulatory obligations where applicable
3. Email confirmations and communication
When you submit a form, we may send an automated confirmation email to the address you provided. Our support team may then send follow-up emails with trial, payment, setup or support information. You are responsible for making sure your email address is correct and for checking your inbox, spam and junk folders.
4. Cookies, analytics and similar technologies
The website uses essential cookies and similar storage for form security, campaign attribution and saved privacy preferences. These essential technologies are required for the website and forms to work correctly.
Optional Google measurement storage remains denied until you choose Allow measurement cookies. Choosing Essential cookies only keeps non-essential Google analytics and advertising-measurement storage denied. Advertising personalisation, remarketing and enhanced conversions are not enabled in the current implementation.
Microsoft Clarity is loaded with advertising storage denied. When measurement cookies are declined, Clarity may operate in a limited no-consent/cookieless mode and collect page-level interaction information such as page views, clicks and scrolling without using Clarity cookies to maintain multi-page session continuity. If you choose Allow measurement cookies, Clarity analytics storage is granted so fuller analytics, heatmaps and privacy-masked session continuity can be available. Clarity advertising storage remains denied.
Clarity masks input-box content, numbers and email addresses by default. We also mark website forms for additional masking so form entries are not intentionally included in recordings.
You can change your choice at any time using the option in the footer.
5. Payment information
If payments are processed through a third-party payment provider, your payment information is handled by that provider according to its own terms and privacy policy. We may receive limited payment confirmation information, such as payment status, amount, date, reference number or billing details needed to manage your subscription.
Marketing emails, mailing-list consent and welcome vouchers
If you explicitly join our marketing list through the mailing-list popup, or tick the optional marketing checkbox on another website form, we use your email address to send competitions, major discounts and Popcorn Club VIP updates. The checkbox is optional and is not selected by default. Single opt-in is currently used, so an explicitly submitted address may be added immediately without a separate confirmation email. Zoho Campaigns manages the mailing list and records active and unsubscribed contacts. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email, and existing unsubscribe preferences are respected.
Eligible new subscribers may receive a unique 50% welcome voucher by email. To prevent repeated claims and to verify redemption, we keep a server-side voucher record linked to the submitted email address. The record includes the voucher code, issue and expiry dates, delivery status and whether the voucher has been used. A record that an address has already received the welcome offer may be retained for fraud and duplicate-offer prevention even after the voucher expires or the person later unsubscribes from marketing.
6. Third-party service providers
We may share limited information with trusted service providers that help us operate the website and provide our services. These may include hosting providers, form-processing tools, email-delivery services, payment processors, advertising-measurement providers and support tools. They should use information only as needed to provide their services. Zoho Campaigns manages marketing-list subscriptions and unsubscribe preferences. Google Ads processes limited advertising-measurement data when its tag is active. Microsoft Clarity processes limited cookieless interaction measurement when analytics storage is denied and fuller consented measurement when analytics storage is granted.
7. Legal and security disclosures
We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, regulation, security investigation, fraud prevention, or to protect our rights, users, business, systems or the public.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including support history, account management, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute handling and record keeping. When information is no longer needed, we will delete it or anonymise it where practical.
9. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. However, no online service, email system, website or internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
You may contact us to ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of information where appropriate, or to object to certain processing. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request and may retain information where required for legal, security or legitimate business reasons.
11. Children’s privacy
Our website and services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
12. International processing
Because our website, hosting, email and support tools may use third-party providers, your information may be processed or stored in other countries. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to work with providers that protect personal information appropriately.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the updated policy.
